Driving the ball well is key to improving your golf game, especially off the tee. Here are some tips to help you drive the ball more effectively:
1. Proper Stance and Alignment
- Stance: Position your feet shoulder-width apart. This gives you a stable base to generate power.
- Ball Position: Place the ball just inside your left heel (for right-handed players). This ensures you strike the ball on the upswing.
- Alignment: Align your shoulders, hips, and feet parallel to the target line. This helps ensure that your swing path is straight.
2. Grip the Club Correctly
- Neutral Grip: Hold the club with a neutral grip. Both hands should work together with the Vās formed by your thumbs pointing toward your right shoulder (for right-handed players).
- Light Grip Pressure: Maintain a light grip pressure. This helps in keeping your hands and arms relaxed, allowing for a smoother swing
